The motivation for working with comics is in response to the educational needs of our children. The communicative value of the words gives way to the speed of computers and “texting” and social networks. The children express less and less needs and emotions, tend to withdraw into themselves and their ways of relating with the adult world and among themselves peer group becomes harder. In this context, there is less and less space for games, fantasy and creativity. Most children use technological games in which everything has already been invented: characters, scenes, actions. The school can and must recover the value of education and sense of “fantasy” by promoting educational activities in which creativity is the key factor to communication through words and drawings. Comics workshop is a great tool for working with groups of students, also very different because with the design, creates a communicative space the offers everyone the opportunity to be protagonists for children who are more timid and distressed. Strengths Cartoon  The comics can capture the reader’s interest due to stress visual images; the visual persistence “is, in fact, a unique feature of the comics because the time advances to the rhythm of the reader, unlike the films and animations. The comic serves also as a bridge to disciplines and difficult situations developing analytical skills and critical thinking. According to Berkowitz & Packer (2001) comics can be used in the teaching of different disciplines and training contexts: in fact they use a language that apparently included almost universally (Sones, 1944); their use in education is based on the theory of double coding Pavio and Clark (1991): the recognition is enhanced by the presence of information in both verbal and visual. Fundamental task of the current school is to promote formation of values and foster learning processes following innovative educational technology. Learn not only store, that store data and information, education predisposing to certain tasks, but it’s mostly always acquire new attitudes and behaviors. Therefore, educational technology in the school newspaper, if used in a targeted and correctly, can prove to be authentic resources to correct or teach attitudes of social life. The importance of the didactic cartoon  The comic was the first multimedia message which together with the cinema has acted as a bridge between the verbal and iconic. And ‘language independent because because image and text in the balloon interact in such a way that the resulting language is not simply the sum of the first two, but it’s a new language, completely original. Comics are multimedia texts in which two different codes of expression, words and images converge to form a unitary language. The contexts in which they take place the stories and cartoons are contexts related to everyday life, in the comic life backdrop. The comic itself as “mediator” and facilitator of many subject areas, the common thread that acts as a conductor in the communicative dimension by itself become a tool not only privileged but within the teaching. The comic is therefore a particularly effective language, akin to the communication patterns of the young and code they mastered. It then emphasized the extraordinary capacity impact offered by the comic image and communication in society continues.  In fact, in hindsight, the learning outcomes that can be achieved by offering the comic in the school are of unquestionable importance: • design of interdisciplinary activities that can invest all disciplines and that enhance the use of language and cross-cultural; • enrichment of the professional competence of teachers compared to the knowledge and use of communication techniques, with particular reference to the iconic and imaging; • promotion and development of skills of writing, reading, interpretation, listening, synthesis, aesthetic evaluation; • use of the educational value of the components of the game and still play a production of comics for motivation; His noblest function is the one that subjects it to criticism, considers medium to stimulate the imagination, the imagination and communication skills and narrative boys or as support the development of routes of socialization, self-promotion, even for Guidance and professionalization. Certainly the comic can be educational vehicle or may not be, but this is characteristic it shares with all other media of mass communication.
